About the service
PRP (platelet-rich plasma) is a serum we collect from a blood sample that is rich in white blood cells and platelets, both of which have incredible growth factors. These help stimulate new hair growth when injected into the scalp, as well as tissue rejuvenation, which is useful in the undereye area to correct hollowness or dark circles.
What to expect at the appointment:
This is a well-tolerated procedure that takes 30 minutes (undereye injections) up to 60 minutes (hair injections)
- First, we draw your blood (typically from your arm or hand)
- We place your blood into a centrifuge which spins and separates it so that we can take the PRP serum from the top.
- Next, we will do a series of injections along the scalp (number depends on size of area treated) or under the eye (typically 3 injections per eye)
- There is no downtime and no side effects besides mild discomfort or inflammation. We recommend waiting 24 hours to wash the hair after scalp treatment.

What are benefits of hair PRP?
This is a non-invasive option, as opposed to hair transplants. The procedure stimulates inactive hair follicles and puts them in the active growth phase so you see growth where there was little or none before.
How many treatments for hair restoration will I need?
We recommend 6 treatments, with most clients seeing results after 3 or 4.
